Ecco un esercizio veloce che può aiutarti a imparare una buona tecnica di orientamento in acque libere e triathlon.

Perché farlo:
Imparare ad orientarsi con la vista mentre si è in posizione “a braccio teso” e imparare come sfruttare la fase di trazione per dare un’occhiata veloce ai dintorni sono capacità molto importanti in gare di acque libere.
Come farlo:
1. Comincia con un po’ di pratica a Stile Libero con un braccio solo, tenendo disteso in avanti il braccio che rimane fermo.
2. Respira ogni due bracciate dalla parte del braccio che esegue la bracciata e fai del tuo meglio per tenere vicino alla superficie dell’acqua il braccio che rimane fermo.
3. Dopo esserti esercitato per qualche vasca comincia ad alternare al movimento rotatorio della respirazione uno sguardo in avanti alzando gli occhi appena sopra il pelo dell’acqua.
4. Ricorda di tenere il braccio teso vicino alla superficie e alzare la testa quel poco che serve a fare appena uscire gli occhi.
5. Riabbassa la testa in posizione neutrale e poi ruotala di nuovo alla bracciata successiva per respirare.
Come farlo veramente bene (i punti essenziali):
Il tempismo, ossia il QUANDO ti spingi in alto per respirare, è molto importante. Quello che devi evitare è di avere contemporaneamente testa e braccio sopra il livello dell’acqua troppo a lungo, percui inizia a spingere la testa verso l’alto all’incirca a metà del movimento subacqueo del braccio. Il braccio disteso ti servirà da supporto e quando il l’altro braccio entrerà in fase di recupero la testa affonderà di nuovo in acqua. Ricorda, cerca di avere o la testa o il braccio fuori dall’acqua, NON entrambi.
